Welcome to EdgeCraft Wānaka. Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before booking or using our ski tuning and related services. By making a booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Booking and Payment
1.1 All bookings are made online via our website or authorized booking platforms.
1.2 A valid credit or debit card must be provided at the time of booking to secure your appointment. Your card will not be charged until the service is completed or if cancellation/no-show fees apply.
1.3 Payment is due upon service completion. We accept cash, bank transfer, and mobile payments as specified on invoice.
1.4 Additional charges for selected add-ons (e.g., Pick-up & Drop-off, Express Turnaround) will be added to your final invoice.
2. Cancellations and No-Shows
2.1 Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid fees.
2.2 Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a cancellation fee up to 50% of the scheduled service price.
2.3 Cancellation fees will be charged to the card on file.
3. Service Turnaround Times
3.1 Standard tuning turnaround is typically 24–48 hours, depending on workload and season.
3.2 Express Turnaround is available for an additional fee and guarantees faster service (usually same-day or within 24 hours).
3.3 Turnaround times are estimates and may be affected by external factors like weather, demand, or equipment condition.
4. Pick-up & Drop-off Service
4.1 Pick-up & Drop-off is available within the Wānaka area for an additional fee.
4.2 Customers must provide accurate pick-up and drop-off addresses.
4.3 EdgeCraft Wanaka is not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers or access issues.
4.4 Express Turnaround is not included automatically with Pick-up & Drop-off and must be selected separately if required.
5. Service Scope and Limitations
5.1 EdgeCraft Wanaka is a ski tuning specialist workshop. We currently do not offer general snowboard tuning services.
5.2 We tune skis only, including splitboards as part of our backcountry program—contact us for details.
5.3 All gear is inspected before tuning. We will notify you if additional repairs or services are recommended, which may incur extra charges.
5.4 EdgeCraft Wanaka is not responsible for pre-existing damage, manufacturer defects, or damage occurring after service.
6. Liability
6.1 Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided.
6.2 We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services.
7. Customer Responsibilities
7.1 Customers must provide accurate information when booking and ensure their gear is safe to be tuned.
7.2 Customers agree to comply with any instructions or recommendations given by EdgeCraft Wanaka staff.
8. Privacy
8.1 We collect and handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 All content, images, and branding on our website and marketing materials are the property of EdgeCraft Wanaka and may not be used without permission.
10. Changes to Terms
10.1 We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on our website.
11. Governing Law
11.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
