Turnaround: 24-48 hours This tune is made for the skiers who see the mountain as a playground — from Cardrona’s Big Air and rails to side hits and natural features. At EdgeCraft Wānaka, we hand-tune every ski with freestyle-specific details in mind: smoother edge transitions for pressing and spinning, base structuring for consistent glide on rails and snow, and a finish that balances pop with control. Whether you’re lapping the terrain park, dialing in tricks, or chasing style over the whole mountain, this tune is designed to support creativity without compromising on performance. This tune includes: 1. Softened Tip & Tail Edges — Reduced bite in contact zones for smoother presses, landings, and takeoffs. 2. Polished Effective Edges — Dialled grip where you need it for edge control on transitions and takeoffs. 3. Custom Base Structuring — Hand-textured for glide in all temperatures, including flat bases for rails. 4. Hot Wax Finish — Hand-applied wax to keep you sliding smooth from morning laps to golden hour sessions. Cancellation Policy
All tuning is by appointment with a standard 24–48 hr turnaround. Need it faster? Select Express Turnaround ($15) at checkout. Pick-up & Drop-off ($25) is available within Wānaka. If selected, please provide your full address. Express is not included and must be added separately. A valid credit or debit card is required to book. Your card won’t be charged until after service or if a cancellation/no-show fee applies. Payment is due on completion. We accept cash, bank transfer, or mobile payment. Add-ons are added to your final invoice. You’ll receive a confirmation email with service details. Cancellations or changes must be made at least 24 hrs in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged 50% of the service fee. All gear is inspected before tuning. We’ll contact you if any extra work is needed. Not liable for pre-existing damage. Ski-only workshop. No snowboard tuning. Splitboard riders — get in touch to see if your setup qualifies.
