Restore. Refresh. Rebuild — handcrafted tuning with full base repair for tired or damaged skis. Turnaround: 48–72 hours This is our most comprehensive service, designed for skis that have seen hard seasons, deep scratches, or core shots. Whether you’ve hit rocks in the backcountry or just put in serious mileage, this full-service tune brings your skis back to life — and back to performance. At EdgeCraft Wānaka, we don’t run skis through machines. Every repair, fill, and finish is done by hand with the precision and care your gear deserves. This service includes: 1. Base Grinding & P-Tex Repair — Full assessment and patching of core shots, deep gouges, and edge-to-edge scratches using premium P-Tex. 2. Base Flattening & Structuring — Hand-flattened and structured base for optimal glide and wax absorption. 3. Edge Rebuild & Sharpening — Edges are reset, de-burred, and hand-tuned to your preferred bevel for precision control. 4. Hot Wax Finish — Deep-conditioning wax applied and brushed by hand for smooth, consistent glide. Cancellation Policy
All tuning is by appointment with a standard 24–48 hr turnaround. Need it faster? Select Express Turnaround ($15) at checkout. Pick-up & Drop-off ($25) is available within Wānaka. If selected, please provide your full address. Express is not included and must be added separately. A valid credit or debit card is required to book. Your card won’t be charged until after service or if a cancellation/no-show fee applies. Payment is due on completion. We accept cash, bank transfer, or mobile payment. Add-ons are added to your final invoice. You’ll receive a confirmation email with service details. Cancellations or changes must be made at least 24 hrs in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged 50% of the service fee. All gear is inspected before tuning. We’ll contact you if any extra work is needed. Not liable for pre-existing damage. Ski-only workshop. No snowboard tuning. Splitboard riders — get in touch to see if your setup qualifies.
